Rub­bing our eye­lids blocks our sight and says: I don’t want to see any­thing. If only one eye is touched, the per­son usu­ally wants to avoid con­tact with who­ever is talk­ing to him. If he runs his in­dex fin­ger along the lower lid from the in­ner cor­ner to the outer cor­ner, it sig­nals fa­tigue and ex­haus­tion. But if a per­son rubs his eye­brows, he may be suf­fer­ing from a mi­graine.
