Guadalupe Zepeda, 83, of Calipatria passed away of natural causes on Sunday, March 12 in La Jolla.

She was born January 4, 1934 in Ameca, Jalisco, Mexico. Guadalupe (Lupe) was a longtime resident of Calipatria and was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. She had a great love for her husband, children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and her family. She loved gardening and especially loved her red roses and her birds. She had many friends and was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Visitation for Lupe will be Thursday, March 23 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Calipatria. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Mass will commence at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 24 also at St. Patrick’s. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley.

Lupe is survived by her husband Manuel Zepeda; her children Belia (Alejandro) Corral, Fidel (Wendy) Flores, Alfonso (Alma) Luna, Jaime (Josie) Luna, Raymond (Maria) Luna and Sylvia (Jose) Rodriguez; and numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
