Trio in­dicted for rob­bery

Three in­di­vid­u­als were in­dicted by a state judge for rob­bery and ve­hi­cle theft, said the At­tor­ney Gen­eral’s of­fice.

The in­di­vid­u­als were iden­ti­fied as Ri­cardo Elías “Doe,” René “Doe” and César “Doe,” no ages re­ported.

The sus­pects were in­dicted for their al­leged in­volve­ment in the May 5 rob­bery at the Avon of­fice lo­cated at Héc­tor Terán Av­enue and Eleventh Street at Colo­nia Vi­cente Guer­rero neigh­bor­hood in west­ern Mex­i­cali.

The sus­pects pre­sum­ably ar­rived at the scene and bran­dished firearms to­ward em­ploy­ees.

After punch­ing and ty­ing the vic­tims, the sus­pects al­legedly left the scene with 48,400 pe­sos, or $2,688, as well as a Nis­san NP 300 truck loaded with mer­chan­dise val­ued in $1,111.

The sus­pects were ar­rested mo­ments later on the truck and with the cash and stolen items.
