KIDS DO THE DARNDEST THINGS!
GLASSES BECOME WORK OF ART
Color them bored. Kevin Nguyen, 16, and TJ Khayatan, 17, were underwhelmed by the exhibits during a May 21 visit to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, so Kevin placed his Burberry eyeglasses on the floor to see what would happen. “LMAO WE PUT GLASSES ON THE FLOOR AT AN ART GALLERY AND … ” tweeted TJ, with photos of patrons admiring their, um, masterpiece (left). The stunt quickly went viral. “We didn’t really expect what was going to happen,” TJ says. “Apparently everyone was very intrigued.” The reaction, adds Kevin, “was hilarious.”
In China, a young boy — thought to be 4 or 5 — got so excited by a giant Lego sculpture at the May 29 opening of a Lego expo that he pushed it over and destroyed it. The artwork, a statue of the fox from Disney’s Zootopia, took three days to create and cost more than $15,000, but the artist, identified as “Mr. Zhao,” didn’t order a time-out for the tyke, saying, “The child did not intend to break it.”
