The Battle Over His Fortune Rages On
After Prince died without a will, his sister, Tyka Nelson, declared herself and five half siblings heirs to his $300 million fortune. But in May, Colorado federal prison inmate Carlin Q. Williams (right) asked a judge for a DNA test to prove he’s Prince’s biological son. His mother, Marsha Henson, “never wavered from her story” that Prince fathered Williams during a 1976 visit to Kansas City, Mo., family friend Natasha Riley tells In Touch. Williams is so confident, he has filed documents asking the judge to prioritize his DNA test over the estate administrator’s request to hire experts to advise on how to manage Prince’s intellectual property.
