JULES & MICHAEL: THE SPLIT TURNS NASTY
Jules Wainstein tried to keep her split from hubby Michael, 44, under the radar ( In Touch broke the news that he quietly filed for divorce amid cheating allegations on May 16), but now that it’s become public, it’s quickly turning ugly. “Jules never signed a prenup and wants a huge chunk of his $25 million fortune,” says an insider, adding that the Real Housewives of New York City star, who called the cops on June 16 after Michael allegedly threatened to ruin her life, wants custody of kids Rio and Jagger. But the venture capitalist isn’t scared of Jules, 35, his lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, tells In Touch. Heller contends that Michael was “bullied” by his wife for years, including a 2012 incident that resulted in Jules’ arrest for domestic violence. “He’s been viciously brutalized by her,” Heller says, adding that Michael never cheated. “She’s a drama queen — he can’t take it anymore. He just wants to walk away from this.”
