Ellen Degeneres loves animals — but people are another story! “She is very standoffish, cold and unfriendly to the workers who care for her dogs,” a source tells In Touch of the talk show queen, 58, who drops off her pooches, Wolf, Auggie and Kid (above), at an La-area doggy day care for three-hour sessions. “Other celebrities are very chatty and pleasant, but Ellen is far from it.” Ellen’s wife, Portia de Rossi, 43, isn’t much friendlier. “They’re both hard to please,” adds the source. “But Ellen has the warmth of an ice-skating rink!”
