Terra Jolé hasn’t let her 4-foot2 stature stop her from finding love (with husband Joe Gnoffo), having kids (Penelope, 19 months, and Grayson, 2 months), becoming a reality TV star ( Little Women: LA and its spin-off, Little Women: Terra’s Little Family) and now hoofing it with partner Sasha Farber on Dancing With the Stars. “I really try not to let my outer shell get in the way of what I want to do in life,” Terra tells In Touch. “Doing this show is an example of taking things to the next level.” Here, the 36-year-old opens up about the challenges of DWTS, her future baby plans and her most cringeworthy celeb encounter. How does it feel to be on the dance floor with the world watching? TJ: It feels like a roller coaster. We’re going down the hill, and I’m just hanging on tight.

When you get frustrated on DWTS, how do you handle that? TJ: I cry in the corner! No, I’m just kidding.

Hey, some people really do handle it that way! TJ: I think everybody has at least one bad day every week. You just have to suck it up.

Does the height difference between you and Sasha [who is 5-foot-7] make it extra challenging? TJ: If moves don’t work for me, most of the time Sasha changes them. He’s a great, supportive partner. You’re the first little person to compete on the show. Do you feel pressure? TJ: I do. I want to be a positive role model for people who feel like they aren’t able to do things in their lives. I mean, there’s a little person on the show! That’s not something people normally see.

You must be really proud of yourself. TJ: I was very proud the moment I became a part of DWTS. And now I’m just trying to improve as a dancer and trying to improve as Terra.

How is motherhood treating you? TJ: It’s an experience I could never put into words. I just wish I could see my babies a little bit more. But not until the end of November.

Do you have a time line for more babies? TJ: I have no time line. Let’s wait until these two are out of diapers! ◼

DANCE FEVER “I just try and give 100 percent every day,” says Terra (with her DWTS pro partner, Sasha Farber).

HER LOVES Terra and husband Joe welcomed son Grayson (pictured at right with big sister Penelope), on Aug. 1.
