Flip or Flop stars Tarek and Christina El Moussa seem to have a perfect life. But in 2003, before the pair met and fell in love, Tarek was tormented, threatened and harassed by a jilted ex-lover. And it got so bad that Tarek, now 35 and a TV star who flips houses with his wife, filed for a restraining order. The ex, whom Tarek had dated in high school, went bonkers after he left her for another woman, according to the court documents obtained exclusively by In Touch. “For three years I get calls in the middle of the night that wake me up. Sometimes she doesn’t say anything. … Other times she will say I love you, I miss you, why do you hate me, can’t we be together,” the HGTV star claimed in the papers. “When I’m not getting these calls, she has guys call me saying they’re going to f--- me up, key my car, jump me, shoot me etc.” Tarek also says she tried to destroy his life and career by telling “people awful things about me that aren’t true that threatened my reputation as a real estate agent.” Tarek asked the judge for his ex to “stay 100 % [sic] away from me” and to get “help from a counselor to get over her anger and issues.” The judge granted Tarek a temporary restraining order against the ex, but it was later dropped after neither party showed up in court for a follow-up hearing.

According to court papers, Tarek (shown with wife Christina) accused his ex of having “guys waiting outside my house.”
