FULLER HOUSE IS UPPING THE NOSTALGIA!
Everywhere you look … there will be familiar faces! Season two of the Netflix revival Fuller House will be released on Dec. 9, and it’s already promising to give fans all the feels! “A dream come true, 25 years in the making,” Andrea Barber, 40, tweeted, revealing that New Kids on the Block (a favorite of her character Kimmy Gibbler and BFF D.J. Tanner’s!) will be making an appearance. Fuller House is also bringing back two classic characters in the season finale: D.J. and Kimmy’s frenemy Kathy Santoni and Nelson Burkhard, D.J.’S wealthy boyfriend whom she famously dumped in season eight for bad boy rocker Viper. “D.J. has always been the one who got away, so Nelson shows up to win her back,” Hal Sparks, who’s taking on the role, tells In Touch. “There’s a lot of romantic tension!” (Jason Marsden, the original Nelson, turned down an offer to reprise his part due to a prior commitment.) “They’re really hammering the ’90s nostalgia thing this season,” adds Hal. “It’s a lot of fun!”
