MACI ON RYAN’S SUBSTANCE ABUSE ISSUES: ‘ IT’S BEEN TOUGH’
Teen Mom OG’S Maci Bookout stunned fans when she exposed her ex Ryan Edwards’ substance abuse issues on the show’s May 29 episode. And while Ryan, 28, is finally getting the help he needs, “it’s been tough,” Maci, 25, admits to In Touch. (Ryan, who shares son Bentley, 8, with Maci, entered rehab in mid-may.) “But Ryan’s doing good. He’s doing what he needs to do, and that’s all any of us can ask right now.” While she admits the whole ordeal has been “a roller coaster,” Maci — who is also mom to Jayde, 2, and Maverick, 1, with husband Taylor Mckinney, 28 — has been staying strong for Bentley. “Right now, it’s not about me or how I’m feeling; it’s about my son [and] how to support [him through this],” she says. “We are just taking it one day at a time.”
