THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE PRINCESS DI?!
A floral tribute to the late Princess Diana would have been better off nipped in the bud. Made in part from English roses, the end product (left) looks nothing like Di. Volunteers in Chesterfield, England, employed “the ancient Derbyshire art of designing with flower petals” — known as a “well dressing” — to create the likeness. Unfortunately, it appears the time has come to make that “ancient art” a lost art — as in gone forever. As one observer posted on Facebook, “I saw it and thought, ‘What an insult.’”
