How smart! Reb Beatty, a professor of financial accounting at Maryland’s Anne Arundel Community College, told students they could bring a “3x5” card as a “cheat sheet” for a test. But one sly student, Elijah Bowen, noted the instructions didn’t specify inches — and carted in a 3-by-5-foot poster board. “Well played,” responded Reb, who allowed Elijah to use it. “And lesson learned for me.”
