WALK IT OFF Jet lag is rough. Phys­i­cal ac­tiv­ity (and ex­po­sure to light) is a quick way to re­set the body clock. You might not feel like do­ing a work­out the morn­ing af­ter you fly back from Europe, but you’ll def­i­nitely thank your­self when you’re func­tional later in the day. Luke’s early-morn­ing walk may be the rea­son he makes it all the way through a late din­ner. BREAK BREAD Lunch is a great slot for re­cur­ring meet­ings. You have to eat any­way, but this way the meet­ings don’t take up time that you could use for more fo­cused work or brain­storm­ing. Since re­cur­ring meet­ings don’t have to earn their spot on your cal­en­dar, it’s easy for them to lose ef­fec­tive­ness. But if you meet over a meal, well, it can al­ways be bond­ing time if the agenda isn’t com­pletely on point.
