To prepare medium value color liquids for pouring, I take three small dishes each filled with two teaspoons of water. I squeeze 1-inch of Antwerp, ¾-inch of Hansa yellow deep and /-inch of the naphthol red out of the tubes and put them into separate dishes. I then use three brushes to stir the pigments into the water completely.
