We all remember how some fans didn’t exactly show their support for Ariana Grande and comedian Pete Davidson when they announced their engagement only weeks after going public with their relationship and shortly after the breakup between Ariana and late rapper Mac Miller. However, Pete expressed in a recent interview that lately the hate comments have gone to an extreme. “I got a death threat,” he reveals. “Someone said they wanted to shoot me in the face because she’s so hot.” The threats were so intense that they had Pete questioning himself. “I thought, ‘Am I that ugly that people want to shoot me in the face?’” he says.

Though he continues to battle his insecurities, Pete knows to ignore the comments and focus on the positivity Ariana brings to his life.

“I just think we are supposed to be together,” he says.

“I’m very grateful for him, and we’re enjoyingevery minute ‘cause life’s too short,” Arianasays.
