While the JL front suspension utilizes a factory 4-link design similar to the JK, several revisions have been made to improve strength and handling. JKS builds on this platform to take the suspension to the next level. Replacement 2.5” dual rate coil springs and FOX 2.0 IFP gas shocks offer improved on/off-road performance along with a JKS heavy duty 1-1/2” OD x 3/8” thick adjustable track bar to properly recenter the front axle. Additionally JKS quicker sway bar disconnects are supplied for the front and longer rear sway bar links. Billet aluminum machined bump stop extensions are supplied for each corner along with alignment cams to properly position the axles. Finishing off the kit are brake line brackets and a rear heavy duty track bar bracket .

The coils are specially designed and tested to offer maximum wheel travel and offroad control while providing comfortable on-road ride quality. This is achieved with Jspec 2.5” dual rate coil springs that unlike other dual rate coils won’t bow out under normal or extreme use. These coils are offered with standard and HD rates to match your vehicle and driving needs and pair with monotube FOX 2.0 IFP gas shocks for optimal ride quality and handling.

Along with the sway bar quick disconnects, JKS supplies a disconnect retainer bracket to secure your swaybar and link up out of the way when you're out on the trail using the standard disconnect pin and clip.

The newest reincarnation of the one and only Jeep Wrangler has already proven to be a worthy replacement for the outgoing Wrangler JK. With several suspension, drivetrain and chassis refinements, along with tweaked styling and modern amenities the new 2018 Wrangler JL is a step in the right direction as a comfortable on-road cruiser and off-road crawler. But what if you are looking for even more performance and capability? For that we turn to JKS Manufacturing out of Coldwater, MI. They offer several Jspec options for the JL including the 2.5” J-Rated system going on this new JL Unlimited Rubicon. Specially designed, tested, and manufactured specifically for the new JL, it offers better all around performance and clearance for our set of 37” BFG KO2 tires on 17” Method Race wheels.
