jew­elry wire (hanger) Pli­ers Hole punch Press and straighten stitched piece. Trim fab­ric edges 10 threads from stitch­ing on sides and 15 threads from stitch­ing on the top and bot­tom and trim on all four sides. Care­fully re­move five hor­i­zon­tal threads at top and bot­tom to cre­ate fringe.

Us­ing the tem­plate on page 113, cut a tag shape from stiff felt. Re­fer­ring to photo through­out, cen­ter stitched piece on tag and care­fully at­tach brads in cor­ners, pierc­ing fab­ric and stiff felt tag. If de­sired, cut a match­ing tag shape from soft felt and glue to back of tag to con­ceal brads.

Us­ing pli­ers, bend wire to cre­ate loops and tri­an­gles. Punch a hole at cen­ter top of tag; se­cure wire in hole. If de­sired, slide beads onto wire. Bend wire to make a hook for hang­ing.
