In­struc­tions: Cross stitch over one thread us­ing one strand of floss.

Work star us­ing one ply of silk floss, work­ing ver­ti­cal and hor­i­zon­tal stitches first and then di­ag­o­nal stitches. Work straight stitches on top of the ver­ti­cal and hor­i­zon­tal silk stitches us­ing one strand 021. Work straight stitches on top of the long­est stitch in the four sets of di­ag­o­nal stitches with one strand 021.

Work satin stitches us­ing two strands of floss. Fin­ish­ing Ma­te­ri­als & In­struc­tions • Pel­lon fusible in­ter­fac­ing • Buck­ram • Com­ple­men­tary silk fab­ric • 2mm bright gold metal­lic gold trim • 30 gold 3/8" jin­gle bells • Gold sewing thread • 1/4"- wide rib­bon for hanger • Craft glue Press stitched piece from re­verse side. Mea­sure 1" be­yond stitch­ing at top and sides, and 13/4" from bot­tom. Cut out linen in a tri­an­gle shape.

Us­ing stitched piece as tem­plate, cut silk fab­ric 1/4" larger on all sides for back­ing.

Us­ing stitched piece as a tem­plate, cut in­ter­fac­ing and buck­ram 1/4" smaller on all sides.

Cen­ter in­ter­fac­ing over stitched piece on re­verse side; fuse ac­cord­ing to man­u­fac­turer's in­struc­tions. Place buck­ram on top of in­ter­fac­ing and fold edges of stitched piece over buck­ram, mi­ter­ing cor­ners; press.

Place back­ing and fused stitched piece wrong sides to­gether. Use a lad­der stitch with sewing thread to join for a flat fin­ish.

Glue gold metal­lic trim around edges.

Thread five jin­gle bells on sewing thread. Place rib­bon in cen­ter and make a loop, leav­ing 21/2" ends be­low bells. Re­fer­ring to photo through­out, gather bells into a ball, catch­ing rib­bon in­side, and knot thread. Sew to top of tri­an­gle.

Thread 23 jin­gle bells onto sewing thread. Re­fer­ring to photo, lay bells at bot­tom of or­na­ment and sew into place.
