Trim linen 1/2" outside backstitched outline. Fold 1/2" seam allowance to back, mitering corners; press and baste in place.
Using pinking shears, cut a piece of wool fabric 1/2" larger all around than stitched piece. Center stitched piece on wool, wrong side of stitched piece facing right side of wool; sew in place, leaving opening for stuffing. Stuff with fiberfill; sew opening closed.
Mark ribbon 2" from both ends. Fold ribbon in half and mark center. Fold in quarters, marking quarter folds. Unfold ribbon and pin center mark at top center of pillow. Pin each quarter mark at side centers. At bottom center, pin each 2" end mark, leaving ends free.
