Fab­ric: 10" x 9" piece 14-count oat­meal var­ie­gated Aida from Wichelt Im­ports Inc. Stitch Count: 55H x 36W De­sign Size: 4" x 25/ 8" In­struc­tions: Cross stitch over one square us­ing two strands of floss. Back­stitch over one square us­ing one strand of floss.

Fin­ish­ing Ma­te­ri­als & In­struc­tions

• 10" piece jute twine • Wooden dowel or tree branch • Sewing thread Trim stitched piece to 2" from sides and bot­tom and 21/2" from top of stitch­ing. Pull four hor­i­zon­tal Aida threads at bot­tom of stitched piece to cre­ate fringe. Fold stitched piece in half with right sides to­gether. Sew 1/4" seam along long sides. Turn piece right side out. Place stitched side on terry towel; press or­na­ment from re­verse side. Fold top edge un­der 11/2"; hem­stitch in place. Slide dowel through sleeve at top; tie twine to ends of dowel for hanger.
