Dragon Dreams

Teaching full time has been an amazing experience, but far more hectic than I had ever anticipated, especially with grade five this year instead of art. School went right until Dec. 23, 2016, and I was in a total panic about not being ready for the holidays! Instead, I discovered that the holidays will come whether you feel prepared or not. Instead of worrying about everything being perfect, we focused on the basic traditions our family holds most dear and spending what time we did have together. By the time you read this, both girls will be off at university and the Dragon will be getting used to spending time with just her handsome knight. Strive to find BALANCE (as my ornament is named) this holiday season so that you can enjoy it!
