• Two 11" x 7" pieces lin­ing fab­ric • Two 281/2" lengths 3/8"-wide white

rib­bon • Sewing ma­chine and sewing sup­plies

Press stitched piece from re­v­erse side, straight­en­ing as much as pos­si­ble.

Pin stitched piece and un­stitched piece of linen right sides to­gether, match­ing edges. Us­ing a 1/4" seam al­lowance and start­ing at top right, sew down 11/2"; leave a 1/2" open­ing and con­tinue sewing down re­main­der of side, across the bot­tom, and up the op­po­site side to 2" from top; leave a 1/2" open­ing and con­tinue sewing re­main­der of the side.

Pin lin­ing fab­ric right sides to­gether, match­ing edges. Sew around sides and bot­tom, leav­ing a 3" open­ing in bot­tom for turn­ing. Turn right side out. Place the lin­ing in­side the linen bag with right sides to­gether.

Sew around the top edge. Trim cor­ners and turn bag right side out through the open­ing in lin­ing. Stitch the lin­ing open­ing closed and push to the in­side of bag. Press.

Sew around bag 11/2" down from top edge and then 2" down from top edge to cre­ate the cas­ing for the rib­bon. Run one rib­bon through open­ing in one side and the other rib­bon through open­ing in other side. Cinch rib­bon to close.
