Belfast linen • Co­or­di­nat­ing sewing thread • Polyester fiber­fill • Co­or­di­nat­ing twill tape (hanger) Press stitched piece from re­verse side, straight­en­ing as much as pos­si­ble. Trim stitched piece to 1/2" from stitch­ing on top and sides, and 1/4" from stitch­ing on bot­tom. Cut in­ter­fac­ing to same size. Fol­low­ing man­u­fac­turer’s in­struc­tions, fuse in­ter­fac­ing to back of stitched piece. Sew sides to­gether where dou­ble hearts meet, cre­at­ing tube.

Place one linen cir­cle at top of tube with ex­cess linen tucked inside tube. Hand-sew cir­cle to tube. Re­peat for bot­tom of tube, leav­ing small open­ing for stuff­ing. Stuff drum with fiber­fill un­til slightly firm. Sew open­ing closed. Cre­ate hanger with bow from co­or­di­nat­ing twill tape and sew to top of drum.
