Fab­ric: Three 11" x 8" pieces 32-count an­tique white Belfast linen by Zweigart® Stitch Count: 73H x 30W each De­sign Size: 45/ 8" x 17/ 8" each

In­struc­tions: Cross stitch over two threads us­ing two strands of floss. Work 1/4 cross stitch where small sym­bols ap­pear, us­ing two strands of floss.

Back­stitch over two threads us­ing two strands of floss.

Work French knots us­ing two strands of floss and wrap­ping floss around nee­dle twice.

Work rounded Rhodes stitch over eight threads us­ing two strands of floss.

Fin­ish­ing In­struc­tions: Trim each sec­tion 3/8" from back­stitch­ing on all sides. Fin­ger-press seam al­lowances to wrong side along back­stitched bor­der.

Place two pan­els to­gether, wrong sides fac­ing. Be­gin­ning at top, lace pan­els to­gether along one side us­ing lad­der stitch and two strands of 167/45482. When bot­tom is reached, add third panel and con­tinue with lad­der stitch un­til top is reached.

Make a 6" length of twisted cord from 167/45482 for hanger; Twist­ed­Cord­ing In­struc­tions ap­pear on page 107. Knot ends to­gether.

Insert knot­ted ends of twist­ed­cord­ing hanger into top of or­na­ment. Se­cure with tack­ing stitches, mak­ing sure knots are en­cased inside or­na­ment.

Lace fi­nal sides to­gether us­ing lad­der stitch about 3/4 of the way to the bot­tom; at that point, stop and stuff firmly with polyester fiber­fill. Con­tinue lac­ing with lad­der stitch along back­stitched bor­der un­til sides are joined, adding more fiber­fill as nec­es­sary. Se­cure lac­ing thread.

Add a tas­sel at the bot­tom us­ing two strands of co­or­di­nat­ing floss.
