Cross stitch over one square us­ing two strands of floss or one strand fine braid.

Back­stitch over one square us­ing two strands of floss or one strand fine braid.

At­tach beads us­ing co­or­di­nat­ing floss and a cross stitch.

Fin­ish­ing Ma­te­ri­als & In­struc­tions

• Wings tem­plate • White card­stock • White craft feath­ers • Clear-dry­ing craft glue • Dec­o­ra­tive card­stock • DMC 321 floss • Red-and-white baker’s twine Note: Re­fer to photo through­out assem­bly process.

Us­ing sharp em­broi­dery scis­sors, trim each stitched piece fol­low­ing cut lines shown on charts.

Us­ing tem­plate, trace wings onto white card­stock and then cut out. Ad­here white craft feath­ers to front of card­stock wings us­ing glue. Trim feath­ers 1/2" be­yond edge of card­stock wings. Al­low glue to dry.

Place dec­o­ra­tive card­stock and stitched an­gel wrong sides to­gether and glue in place. Al­low glue to dry. Trim ex­cess dec­o­ra­tive card­stock from around an­gel.

Glue stitched heart un­der an­gel’s chin. Cre­ate small bow for cat us­ing six strands DMC 321 and then glue to cat’s neck. Al­low to dry. Glue cat to an­gel’s dress hem­line and boot toe.

Cut 4" length of red-and-white baker’s twine. Glue ends of twine to an­gel’s mit­tens al­low­ing some drap­ing. Cre­ate ap­pear­ance of gar­land by ad­her­ing each stock­ing over twine, spell­ing out “give." Tie two small bows with twine and glue to mit­tens over ends of gar­land twine.

Glue wings to back of an­gel with feath­ers fac­ing for­ward.
