1 cup oleo

3/4 cup ex­tra-fine sugar

1/2 tea­spoon al­mond ex­tract

2 cups all-pur­pose flour

Pinch salt

1 cup un­cooked oat­meal

1/2 cup finely chopped al­monds Con­fec­tion­ers’ sugar

Pre­heat oven to 325 de­grees. Beat oleo, sugar and al­mond ex­tract to­gether un­til light and fluffy. Stir in re­main­ing in­gre­di­ents ex­cept con­fec­tion­ers’ sugar. Di­vide dough into small por­tions us­ing a ta­ble­spoon; shape each por­tion into a cres­cent shape. Bake on an un­greased bak­ing sheet 14 min­utes or un­til bot­toms are a light golden brown. Re­move to a wire rack and sift con­fec­tion­ers’ sugar over gen­er­ously.
