ROCK HALL — Kel­ley Lee Crouch, 35, Rock Hall, on Oct. 18, was charged with pos­ses­sion of a con­trolled dan­ger­ous sub­stance that is not mar­i­juana; and pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia.

Po­lice re­ported that Crouch was a pas­sen­ger in a ve­hi­cle that was stopped for an al­leged traf­fic of­fense.

Deputy David W. Nolan con­ducted the traf­fic stop at 3:26 p.m. on Judefind Av­enue at Brit­tany Bay Drive.

CH­ESTER­TOWN — Pa­trick Henry Martin, 67, Ch­ester­town, on Oct. 24, was charged with ex­ceed­ing max­i­mum speed: 76 mph in a 55-mph zone; fail­ure to drive on the right half of the road­way; driv­ing while im­paired by al­co­hol; and driv­ing while un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol.

Deputy David W. Nolan re­ported that while con­duct­ing a road­side interview, he smelled al­co­hol on Martin. Martin al­legedly per­formed poorly on stan­dard­ized field so­bri­ety tests and re­fused to sub­mit to a chem­i­cal test, ac­cord­ing to a news re­lease.

Deputy Nolan con­ducted the traf­fic stop at 2:38 a.m on state Route 213 at Perkins Hill Road.
