Special Education Recognition Awards given to three teachers
— The Kent County Special Education Citizens’ Advisory Committee recognized three educators for their work with Kent County students at their meeting on May 11.
The annual Special Education Recognition Awards are presented to teachers, therapists and others who provide exceptional support and services to their students with special needs. Recipients are nominated by parents or community members who see the positive impact that these educators have on their students.
Those receiving Special Education Recognition Awards this year were speech and language pathologist Danielle Cudone, and instructional assistants Anesha Freeman and Jen Willis of H.H. Garnet Elementary School.
