Moore sworn in as school resource deputy
CHESTERTOWN — Steve Moore is sworn in as the first school resource deputy for Kent County Middle School on March 30. He is a 10-month employee of the Kent County Sheriff’s Office. Moore, a 1980 graduate of Kent County High School, has 33 years of law enforcement experience. He retired at the end of December as the police chief in Rock Hall. Moore began his 80 hours of field training on March 30. His first day at the middle school will be April 11.
