ShoreRivers pre­sen­ta­tions eye wa­ter­way re­port cards

EAS­TON — ShoreRivers in­vites the com­mu­nity to a se­ries of five State of the Rivers pre­sen­ta­tions dur­ing April and May. ShoreRivers will un­veil its 2017 Re­port Cards for the Chop­tank, Ch­ester, Miles, Wye and Sas­safras rivers, as well as East­ern Bay, and lead in­for­ma­tive dis­cus­sions about the re­sults. Ad­mis­sion to each event is free and open to the pub­lic. Re­fresh­ments will be served. ShoreRivers’ Re­port Cards re­flect data col­lected at hun­dreds of sites by or­ga­ni­za­tion sci­en­tists, river­keep­ers and dozens of vol­un­teers. The pre­sen­ta­tions will pro­vide an op­por­tu­nity for the com­mu­nity to learn about the health, trends and chal­lenges of lo­cal wa­ter­ways and how the most re­cent grades com­pare to those from pre­vi­ous years.
