DRUGS. Myron Anthony Taylor, 38, Chestertown, on Sept. 27, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 200-block of Talbot Boulevard. Officer Albert Piasecki investigated.
ASSAULT. Matthew Edward Simms, 32, Crumpton, on Sept. 28, was issued a summons charging him with second-degree assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred Sept. 25 in the 300-block of Devon Drive.
ROBBERY. PFC Christopher Pavon is investigating a robbery Sept. 28 in the 200-block of Spring Avenue.
ASSAULT. Donsell Emmanuel Wilson, 58, Chestertown, on Sept. 29, was charged with second-degree assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 100-block of Kennedy Drive. PFC Louis Speight investigated.
ASSAULT. Raymundo Avila Colindres, 31, Chestertown, on Sept. 23, was issued a circuit court arrest warrant charging him with first-degree assault. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.
PROBATION. John Stap, 35, Kennedyville, on Sept. 23, was issued two circuit court warrants charging him with violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail.
ASSAULT. A 16-year-old boy from the Chestertown area, on Sept. 25, was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of second-degree assault. The boy was identified as a student at the Kent Alternative Program. He is accused of punching another student in the face. Deputy Scott Metzbower investigated.
BURGLARY. Cpl. Nick Watson is investigating a Sept. 25 burglary in the 200-block of Virginia Avenue, Galena. The complainant reported that money and a gaming console were removed. Total loss is estimated to be $1,700.
ASSAULT. Deputy Samuel Manning is investigating an assault that is alleged to have occurred Sept. 28 in the 100-block of Laura Lane, Galena. A suspect has been identified, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
