EAR­LEVILLE — Regi­nald J. Craig, 85, of Ear­leville passed away on Oct. 2, 2018 at Elk­ton Tran­si­tional Care Cen­ter.

Reg­gie was born on Oct. 4, 1932, son of the late Ervin and Martha Jane Tay­lor Craig. He was born and raised in Ce­cil­ton and was a grad­u­ate of Ch­e­sa­peake City High School. He had worked as a farmer for Harry Davis and James Ba­yard and has lived on Or­di­nary Point Farm since 1963, where he raised his fam­ily. Reg­gie also worked for 18 years as a car­pen­ter at Ge­orge­town Yacht Basin. He was a life mem­ber of Ce­cil­ton Vol­un­teer Fire Com­pany and loved hunt­ing.

He was a Gold Star grand­fa­ther and was pre­ceded in death by Cpl. Bran­don Craig and his broth­ers Porter, Lou and Robert Craig.

Mr. Craig is sur­vived by his wife of 66 years Nancy Jane Pierce Craig; their sons Terry (Leila),

Joey (Louise) and Danny

(Janie); a daugh­ter, Joanne Walenga (Craig); grand­chil­dren Christa Gregg, Cindy Clugston, Theresa Craig, Ryan Craig, Am­ber Rea, Au­tumn Tokash and Al­li­son Cario, Heather Wheeler, Becky Walenga; and 12 great-grand­chil­dren.

Fu­neral ser­vice was held Tues­day, Oct. 9 in the Galena Fu­neral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, Galena. Burial fol­lowed in Zion Ceme­tery, Ce­cil­ton.
