Ch­ester­town Po­lice

FRAUD. De­tec­tive Christo­pher Pavon is in­ves­ti­gat­ing an Oct. 11 com­plaint of fraud in the 500-block of High Street.

HA­RASS. Ni­jah Jamilla Black, 23, Ch­ester­town, on Oct. 15, was is­sued a sum­mons charg­ing her with ha­rass: a course of con­duct.

THEFT. De­tec­tive Christo­pher Pavon is in­ves­ti­gat­ing the thefts of four bi­cy­cles from Wash­ing­ton Col­lege on Oct. 15.

AS­SAULT. Ke­to­ria Lashawn New­ton, 26, Ch­ester­town, on Oct. 16, was is­sued a sum­mons charg­ing her with at­tempted sec­ond-de­gree as­sault. The of­fense is al­leged to have oc­curred in the 400-block of Morgnec Road.

THEFT. Sgt. Stephen Lozar is in­ves­ti­gat­ing an Oct. 16 theft of 12 bat­ter­ies (48 volt) in the 200-block of Scheeler Road. Loss is es­ti­mated to be more than $10,000.

BAD CHECK. Rhette Lee Price, 48, Ch­ester­town, on Oct. 17, was is- sued a sum­mons charg­ing her with pass­ing a bad check.

THEFT. Kyle Alexan­der-Tyler Tem­ple, 26, Ch­ester­town, on Oct. 20, was is­sued a sum­mons charg­ing him with theft of a credit card; theft, $100 to less than $1,500 (two counts); and plac­ing charges on an­other’s credit card (two counts). The of­fenses are al­leged to have oc­curred Sept. 19.

BUR­GLARY. De­tec­tive Christo­pher Pavon is in­ves­ti­gat­ing a break­ing and en­ter­ing in the predawn hours of Oct. 23 in the 100-block of North Mill Street. Po­lice said some­one forcibly en­tered the res­i­dence and then broke into two ve­hi­cles. A gun and cash were taken from the ve­hi­cles; the gun has been re­cov­ered, po­lice said. No in­juries were re­ported.

Queen Anne’s Sher­iff

MDOP. Deputy Daniel Sut­ton is in­ves­ti­gat­ing two com­plaints of ma­li­cious de­struc­tion of prop­erty to mail­boxes in the 300-block of Red Lion Branch Road, Milling­ton, on Oct. 6. Ac­cord­ing to the pre­lim­i­nary in­ves­ti­ga­tion, a ve­hi­cle struck both mail­box- es. The cost of a re­place­ment mail­box is es­ti­mated to be $100, ac­cord­ing to a sher­iff’s of­fice news re­lease.

FRAUD. Cpl. Maria Bas­saro is in­ves­ti­gat­ing a Bar­clay woman’s com­plaint on Oct. 10 that unau­tho­rized ac­counts were opened in her name at two stores in Stevensville.

Kent County Sher­iff

AS­SAULT. Two 15-year-old girls from the Ch­ester­town area, on Oct. 16, were re­ferred to the Depart­ment of Ju­ve­nile Ser­vices on a com­plaint of dis­or­derly con­duct.

One of the girls also was re­ferred on a com­plaint of sec­ond-de­gree as­sault. She is ac­cused of punch­ing the other girl in the head.

The girls were iden­ti­fied as stu­dents at Kent County High School and the of­fenses are al­leged to have oc­curred on cam­pus.

Deputy Scott Met­zbower in­ves­ti­gated.

HA­RASS. Amanda Marie Mas­tri­ano, 39, Townsend, Del., on Oct. 16, was is­sued a district court sum­mons charg­ing her with ha­rass: a course of con­duct.
