Cos­tumes on dis­play in Hal­loween pa­rade

Rad­cliffe Creek School won the first-place prize money for its “Chessie, the Ch­e­sa­peake Bay Mon­ster” float dur­ing the an­nual Chestertown Hal­loween Pararde Sun­day af­ter­noon.

Henry High­land Gar­net El­e­men­tary School PTA placed sec­ond in the float cat­e­gory.

The Wreck­ing Crew — Bray­den Brown in a Peter­bilt truck, Gabriella Mitzel as the lead con­struc­tion worker and Bran­son Brown in a back­hoe — was the top en­try in the group di­vi­sion. Mary Brown is car­ry­ing the sign.

Hay­den Kerr as a knight was the top prize win­ner in the preschool di­vi­sion. That’s his mother Car­rie Kerr on the left.

Lau­rel Clarke’s camp­fire girl cos­tume was the judges’ top pick in the mid­dle school di­vi­sion.

Ayla Wil­son is dressed as a color­ful uni­corn.
