Big Brothers eyes ‘ Fifty by February’
EASTON — It’s time to make a difference for local children. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore is kicking off a “Fifty by February” campaign, a mission to enroll 50 new adult mentors by February 2019.
Anyone living in the nine counties of the Eastern Shore of Maryland is invited to inspire potential in the lives of children by volunteering to mentor, a news release states.
BBBSES is asking for individuals to stand up for one of the 140 children on the waiting list. There is especially a need for male volunteers.
The campaign includes recruitment and awareness activities and events including Networking for a Cause, Information Sessions, Mentor Trainings, a Business After Hours and presentations.
