Okapis date back to 1902 and were originally made in Germany for the African market, but have been made in South Africa for the last 40 years. These carbon steel folders with native cherrywood handles are simple, practical blades that are nearly ubiquitous in Africa. Okapis have been missing from the U.S. market for a number of years, but CAS Iberia is now bringing in a full line of folders, as well as a variety of Okapi machetes.
