Kershaw: Dividend

Knives Illustrated - - Gear Up - Contact Kershaw Knives (800) 325-2891

Other than being made in the U.S. at the Tualatin, Oregon plant, there is a long list of positives attributed to the Kershaw Dividend. Elegantly designed, and perfectly executed, the Dividend has a stout, 3-inch 420HC blade that deploys using Kershaw's patented Speedsafe feature.

During every test I could put it to, the Dividend cut through numerous materials such as denim, leather, cardboard, and even 6-ounce duck canvas, like a zeroed-in laser beam. Add the weight of just 2.6 ounces, a closed length of 4.25 inches, and you've got the perfect mix for a modern-day, mid-sized gentleman's folder. The combination of usability and modest size will make you content carrying this knife using the included reversible pocket clip, or ditching it for a slim carry option, best suited for the shirt or jacket pocket. My favorite part about the Dividend? The American Flag laser etched on the back side of the blade!
