Au­to­mat­ics are Gain­ing Ground

For years, au­to­matic knives were il­le­gal due to the Fed­eral Switchblade Act, en­acted in 1958. Thanks to the ef­forts of Knife Rights ( and their Knife Own­ers Pro­tec­tion Act (KOPA, H.R. 84), 43 states now al­low the pos­ses­sion of au­to­matic knives, with 30 al­low­ing ev­ery­day carry. These num­bers are sure to climb, as Knife Rights is con­tin­u­ing the fight against the Fed­eral Switchblade Act in states that are still un­der the leg­is­la­tion.
