Pre–K enrollment is still open

La Semana - - FRONT PAGE / PORTADA -

Even though enrollment for the 2017-2018 academic year opened way back in February. TPS (Tulsa Public Schools) has informed the public that pre-kindergarten enrollment is still open, a move designed to encourage local parents to get their children into this vital educational head start.

Those kids who are about to enter grades 1st to 12th grades can also still enroll.

If your child has never been enrolled in TPS, parents or legal guardians should enroll the children through the online system at: enroll.tul or should pay an in person visit to the school where they want to send their children.

Remember to bring a valid ID of your child with a photo, a birth certificate, vaccination records and an address certificate such as an utility bill or residential lease agreement. If you enroll your child through the online system remember to scan all the required documents and upload them to the website before finishing the enrollment.

If you have doubts concerning the documentation or are afraid you lack proof of guardianship for the child, call 918-746-7500.

The extension of the enrollment process is a move intended to give all Tulsa children the opportunity to go to school from early childhood, while empowering them with the skills needed to grow as responsible citizens. (La Semana)
