Celebrating Hispanic heritage through Mexican traditional dances
September is Hispanic Heritage month, the time of year chosen to commemorate the independence of five Latin American countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.
As a part of the celebration activities, Martin Re- gional Library is proud to join the festivities by presenting the Mexican folkloric ballet, Ballet Folklorico Tonatiuh. The show is free and open to all the public, a colorful presentation that will delight the eyes of the young and old alike.
The performance will take place October 5 at 7:00 pm at the Martin Regional Library: 2601 S Garnett Rd. The show only lasts an hour, so be punctual. (La Semana)
