Cel­e­brat­ing His­panic her­itage through Mex­i­can tra­di­tional dances

Septem­ber is His­panic Her­itage month, the time of year cho­sen to com­mem­o­rate the independence of five Latin Amer­i­can coun­tries: Costa Rica, El Sal­vador, Gu­atemala, Hon­duras and Nicaragua.

As a part of the cel­e­bra­tion ac­tiv­i­ties, Martin Re- gional Li­brary is proud to join the fes­tiv­i­ties by pre­sent­ing the Mex­i­can folk­loric bal­let, Bal­let Folk­lorico Tonatiuh. The show is free and open to all the pub­lic, a col­or­ful pre­sen­ta­tion that will de­light the eyes of the young and old alike.

The per­for­mance will take place October 5 at 7:00 pm at the Martin Re­gional Li­brary: 2601 S Gar­nett Rd. The show only lasts an hour, so be punc­tual. (La Se­m­ana)
