Whiskey Sour
.75 ounce simple syrup 2 ounces bourbon .75 ounce lemon juice .50 ounce egg whites
Make the simple syrup by either boiling equal parts sugar and water or shaking until fully dissolved. Combine all ingredients in a tin, without ice. Ensure the shaker tins are tightly sealed before shaking until frothy. Add ice and shake again for 15 to 30 seconds. Strain into a tumbler with ice or a coupe glass. Garnish with Angostura bitters.
