Whiskey Sour

.75 ounce simple syrup 2 ounces bourbon .75 ounce lemon juice .50 ounce egg whites

Make the simple syrup by either boiling equal parts sugar and water or shaking until fully dissolved. Combine all ingredient­s in a tin, without ice. Ensure the shaker tins are tightly sealed before shaking until frothy. Add ice and shake again for 15 to 30 seconds. Strain into a tumbler with ice or a coupe glass. Garnish with Angostura bitters.
