Peter Lesniak, 76, of Las Ve­gas, passed away Sept. 2, 2017. Pete was orig­i­nally from New York where he at­tended Brook­lyn Tech­ni­cal High School. He was a vet­eran of Viet­nam and a com­puter en­gi­neer for Unisys Cor­po­ra­tion be­fore he re­tired. Pete was a loyal and car­ing friend who cher­ished the peo­ple in his life above all else. His ridicu­lous and of­ten ex­ag­ger­ated sto­ries will be re­mem­bered by many with a smile and he will be missed every day. Peter is sur­vived by his three daugh­ters, Bar­bara Horvitz of Eureka, Calif., De­bra Thor­son of Boul­der, Colo., and Sandra Brens­ing of Olathe, Kan. He is also sur­vived by five grand­chil­dren; three great­grand­chil­dren; and his older brother, Paul Lesniak (Diane Lesniak). Ser­vice will be at 10 a.m. Thurs­day, Oct. 19, at South­ern Ne­vada Vet­er­ans Memo­rial Ceme­tery, 1900 Vet­er­ans Memo­rial Drive, Boul­der City, NV 89005. All are wel­come. The fam­ily also in­vites you to join them at Moun­tains Edge Re­gional Park, Hare Pavil­ion, at 7929 W.
