Peter Lesniak, 76, of Las Vegas, passed away Sept. 2, 2017. Pete was originally from New York where he attended Brooklyn Technical High School. He was a veteran of Vietnam and a computer engineer for Unisys Corporation before he retired. Pete was a loyal and caring friend who cherished the people in his life above all else. His ridiculous and often exaggerated stories will be remembered by many with a smile and he will be missed every day. Peter is survived by his three daughters, Barbara Horvitz of Eureka, Calif., Debra Thorson of Boulder, Colo., and Sandra Brensing of Olathe, Kan. He is also survived by five grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; and his older brother, Paul Lesniak (Diane Lesniak). Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005. All are welcome. The family also invites you to join them at Mountains Edge Regional Park, Hare Pavilion, at 7929 W. Mountains Edge Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89178, following the service to celebrate Pete’s life.
