Gre­gory "Greg" Bear­den Sr., 70, passed away peace­fully Tues­day, Novem­ber 7, 2017, in his sleep, at his home, in Pahrump, af­ter a bat­tle with di­a­betes late in his adult life. Greg was a re­tired busi­ness­man and life­long south­ern Ne­vada res­i­dent. He was born in Las Ve­gas to Ned Sr. and Genevieve, who pre­ceded him in death. Upon grad­u­at­ing from Western High School, he served in the U.S. Army as a Mil­i­tary Po­lice and was sta­tioned in Viet­nam. When he re­turned, he suc­cess­fully ran an air con­di­tion­ing ser­vice com­pany for 30 years and worked his en­tire pro­fes­sional life in the whole­sale air con­di­tion­ing parts and ser­vice in­dus­try. He en­joyed hunt­ing and fish­ing with fam­ily and friends and spend­ing time in Pine Val­ley, Utah. He had lived the last nine years in Pahrump with his de­voted wife, Tracy, and son, Brad. He was pre­ceded in death is his brother, Ned; and grand­son, Jakob. He is also sur­vived by his son, Gre­gory Jr., and grand­son, Nathan, who re­side in Knoxville, Ten­nessee; and sis­ter, Jane Kadoich of Las Ve­gas. In keep­ing with his wishes, no ser­vices will be sched­uled.
