Criminal Alien Gang Member Removal Act of 2017

■ Would bar immigrant gang members from coming to the United States and allow for them to be detained and removed if they are criminal gang members or participate in gang activity. ■ Would also ensure that criminal gang members are not eligible for immigration benefits, such as asylum, special immigrant juvenile status and temporary protected status, which are reserved for those most in need of protection.
