If Ian was trying to be funny when discussing the moment when he and his wife, Nikki Reed, decided to start a family (daughter Bodhi was born in July), he missed the mark. On a podcast, he recalled sneaking into Nikki’s purse, taking out her birth control pills and popping each one out of the packaging and into the toilet. He later apologized for the joke.
