Star Jones, a for­mer co­host of The View, con- firmed Oct. 23 that she and at­tor­ney Ri­cardo Lugo are set to marry. Star, 55, has sported a di­a­mond ring since June.

Oh, Baby

It’s a boy! On Oct. 25, Jes­sica Alba, 36, an­nounced on In­sta­gram that she and hus­band Cash War­ren, 38, are ex­pect­ing their first son. The cou­ple are par­ents to daugh­ters Haven, 6, and Honor, 9. • Just 19 months af­ter wel­com­ing a son, Ne-yo, 38, and wife Crys­tal Smith, 31, an­nounced on Oct. 25 that they’re ex­pect­ing again. The singer also has a son and a daugh­ter from a pre­vi­ous re­la­tion­ship.

Over the Rain­bow

Renée Zell­weger, 48, will star as Judy Garland in Judy, an up­com­ing biopic set 30 years af­ter the leg­endary ac­tress played Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, it was an­nounced Oct. 23.

Di­vorce Drama

A month shy of their ninth an­niver­sary, singer Tamar Brax­ton, 40, filed for di­vorce from record pro­ducer Vin­cent Her­bert, 44, on Oct. 24. The duo have a son, 4.

Set­tled

Al­most four years af­ter The Fast and the Fu­ri­ous star Paul Walker died in a car crash at age 40, his daugh­ter Meadow, 18, set­tled a wrong­ful death suit against Porsche on Oct. 16. The terms were kept con­fi­den­tial.

Big Re­veal

On Oct. 24, John Mayer an­nounced via Twit­ter that he gave up drink­ing one year ago. The singer, 40, called his so­bri­ety “a con­stant re­turn on in­vest­ment.”

An­toine “Fats” Domino, who had more than three dozen Top 40 hits, in­clud­ing “Blue­berry Hill” and “Ain’t That a Shame,” died of nat­u­ral causes Oct. 24. He was 89. • Ac­tor Robert Guil­laume, who played the ti­tle char­ac­ter on the sit­com Ben­son from 1979 to 1986, died Oct. 24 at age 89. In more re­cent years, he had voiced Rafiki in The Lion King and ap­peared

on Sports Night. His wife, Donna, said he had been bat­tling prostate can­cer. • Scott Putesky, who co­founded Mar­i­lyn Man­son and the Spooky Kids and played gui­tar un­der the pseu­do­nym Daisy Berkowitz, died of can­cer Oct. 22. He was 49.
