THE BETHENNY-CAROLE FEUD IS ‘SAD TO SEE’

Life & Style Weekly - - Inside Hollywood -

You know a Real Housewives feud is serious when one of them busts out a line from The Wire. “If you’re going to come for me — you better not miss,” Carole Radziwill, 54, wrote to Bethenny Frankel, 47, in her blog on May 17, paraphrasing the famous TV gang-warfare quote. The origin of the grudge between the Real Housewives of New York City stars remains unclear, but castmate Luann de Lesseps doesn’t see it blowing over anytime soon. “I hope they will work things out, but it doesn’t look very good,” Luann, 53, told Life & Style at the Chita Rivera Awards in NYC on May 20. “They’ve been friends for a while. It’s sad to see.” Clashes with castmates are nothing new for Bethenny, though. “She is brutally honest and can be harsh,” Luann says. And the result this time is a lot of tension on the RHONY set. “It’s palpable,” Luann notes. “It’s never easy to work around conflict and drama.”

Carole and Bethenny’s war keeps escalating, but Luann (inset) hopes they can “find a common ground.”
