Sex and the City may soon get a reboot — with Sharon Stone taking over as Samantha Jones!
Fans were devastated when Warner Bros. scrapped plans for a third Sex and the City movie after Kim Cattrall refused to reprise her role as iconic cougar Samantha Jones. However, an insider says the studio may have found another actress to sip cosmos alongside Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. “There’s buzz about bringing the ladies back with Sharon Stone filling in as Samantha,” reveals the insider. “It’s the perfect casting choice. If anyone can bring justice to the role, it’s Sharon.” And the cast agrees! When asked about potentially replacing Kim, 64, with the 62-year-old actress, Cynthia replied, “I think Sharon would be, of course, totally amazing. [She] would totally make it her own.”
