State and city need to check spending
Editor: City leaders complain they need additional revenue to manage the city, and blame the State Capitol for its problems.
Actually there’s no difference between the state and city, they both spend and ask for additional revenue.
The city continues to have new retail and new home construction, which has increased property and sales tax revenues. It’s inconceivable the city council would approve a sales tax increase for the ballot. Residents please join me and vote no sales tax increase. DON TENNIS Lodi
